Monday, March 18, 2019 – Tuesday, March 19, 2019, Montpellier, France.
Around 55 scientist – including PhD students, post-docs as well as Principal Investigators – from the NeuroDeRisk consortium met at the Sanofi research site in Montpellier for a kick-off meeting to prepare the start of NeuroDeRisk. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the concrete work plans for the first 6 months of NeuroDeRisk, to establish communication lines and structures and to coordinate between the different work packages. Furthermore, the kick-off was the ideal setting for all scientists to get to know each other in person, which is an essential prerequisite for a successful future collaboration. The kick-off meeting was a great success and all participants are looking forward to the successful implementation of the NeuroDeRisk project.
